Local Governing Bodies
The Local Governing Body (LGB) is responsible for their school and for promoting high standards. The LGB aim is to ensure that pupils are attending a successful school, which provides them with a good education and supports their well-being. All LGBs contain elected parent governors.
The Trustees delegate some of their powers and functions with regard to the leadership and performance of each school in the Trust to the school’s LGB. The Trustees have the legal accountability for the operation and performance of all schools in the Trust and for any decisions taken under delegated authority. Therefore, all local governors act in accordance with the Scheme of Delegation, policies, and procedures of the Trust. Details of our local Governing Bodies can be found below.
